Prestone De-Icer 50c for 600ml in Tesco

    Would have been a better alert a week ago I know, but these are in Tesco right now for 50c each (vs over €2 for same size Tescos own brand). No idea how good the product is - and hope not to have to find out in the near future. In stock Tesco Waterford (Ballybeg) this morning.

    Good price alright. Don't worry though, your BA is far from late, things are set to get very bad again on Thursday.. -10 degrees bad in places. No forseeable end.

    If this is the blue stuff then its not very good at all. I made no difference to my washers

    It's not for the wash/wipe resevoir - it's the spray on stuff, comes in a yellow can. No idea how good it is (but looks like I WILL find out soon!).

    agreed, they freeze at -5, sure water does it at 0 so not worth it, I filled up neat on the blue stuff and it was frozen all during the cold snap...

    I got loads of it for 50c each when monread first opened, it's really good for 50c and it's a huge can but the stuff in it stinks and the halfords own brand one works better. Definetly a bargain though.

    Sounds very much like this offer is not available in all stores - sorry if I sent people on a wild goose chase. As Ballybeg is Tesco's new store in Waterford perhaps this offer is only available there or in other newish stores.
