They did this last year as well, I think you get a link to download a 12 Days of Christmas App in the App store, and each day there's something new in there to download for free. (Last year, the best we got was Trivial Pursuit for free).

I think if you have a US or UK iTunes account, the 12 Days application may be different, with different offers. I can't verify though as I only found out about that after the offer last year.

Yes last year UK had a couple of movies that we didn't have here, the apps as far as I remember were the same in uk and here.

is it possible to sign up for this online? Can't see a link on the treats page, asking cause I only have o2 broadband.

You can text off o2 broadband (if it's enabled for you).

In the o2 broadband connection window there should be a tab called text.

Are you talking about webtext? If so I couldn't send it from there as short code and premium rate numbers are not allowed. I have O2 micro sim for ipad but its call/text functions are disabled I think... I tried 08650202 but it didn't work

Ah, no idea how to text from the ipad, or even if you can. When you use a dongle there's a built in text function, some networks use it to allow you top up etc. It's as if the sim was in a phone.

If it's a microsim I reckon your best bet is to lash it in an iPhone4, but even then you'd need to leave it in there to get your reply on the 26th activating it or whatever.

Thanks, for a moment I thought you were talking about webtext but mobile broadband thing is different I know. I did try the micro sim on a phone but that didn't work either...

That's just another method of using webtext. Still won't be able to send to 50202

The iTunes app is up in the app store now (independent of the o2 offer). Last year they offered the same things anyway.
