    Hi,

Im a 3rd year AIS student, this is my degree year.

Some time during second year, we were sent an email which informed us about what area we would like to go in to if we chose to do a 4th year. i can not remember choosing an area whether it was Information systems or business hons degree.

Does anyone know when you are supposed to choose or how you choose to go forward into 4th year and do you need an average this year? i know it changes at some stage

After xmas they will have a talk to you.u can do either course.all you need is a pass degree.so u just need to pass all exams.
if u choose the business hons,u choose an area in dat.the ism is a smaller class only about 15 and is more practical based. any more questions just ask

    Hi Avb,

I am currently in the 4th year of ISM (I came from the AIS degree).

As liam12989 said, you will be given a talk after Christmas and you will then choose which 4th year course you want to do sometime in April.

(At least that's what happened last year). Hope you're final year is going well for you.

    Hi avb,

I like the ISM course but I always prefered the computer side of AIS.

Some of the subjects that you are doing now in 3rd year are continued in 4th year but there are a few business orientated subjects too.

I don't want to sway you either way. My advice is though if you like the computer side of AIS, then ISM is an option for you.

But as Liam said earlier, you will be explained all of the options in a few months.
