oxidisation. your system is rusting internally and needs cleaned/powerflushed

Forgive me my innocence: Oxidation binds oxigene to metal, so there should be verry little to "bleed" if oxidation happens ?

    At the OP:

Is the pressure of the system dropping considerably as well? Check the expansion barrel for its function if there are no other vissible leaks.
An automatic air valve for the radiator can be got for as little as € 6.-. Some TRVs have them already build-in.

Cant see any leaks, never checked the pressure, if it drops does this mean I need to replace something ?

Yes, at least the lost water.

Sorry if I sound stupid here but is that the taps that re-pressure the system that replace the water ?

Sorry, what tap are you referring to?

There is a tap and a valve that run to the small cylinder (expansion cylinder?) and when I open them they re-pressure the system

Also from my experience, it could be a radiator furtherest from the pump. Check to see what settings your pump could be at....usually they have 1,2,3. Mine is set at 2. I have a very good plumber and he had to replace the pump as he says the boiler I have (room sealed Firebird) was just about adequate to fill all the radiators.

If you had a leak, you would know about it!

Is the rad completely cold, or just part of it lukewarm, like the top or the bottom?

Nah it's the Rad nearest the pump, it does heat no problem it's just that I have to bleed it every other day.
