    Location: Dublin city.
Genre: Check out the link because I'm not too sure.
    Influences: Nature mostly.
Age: Any ages welcome, within reason that is..

Hi I'm a singer and am trying to recruit some players for my band. I already have a guitarist so I probably don't need any more guitarists, unless you're really really interested and don't mind being second in command in the guitar section.

I would like a keyboard player, preferably someone who can sing my harmonies, most likely in a girls or girly voice, so maybe a girl. Its very important to realise that this position is open to those who have intermediate keyboard skills as none of the parts they will be playing are complicated and I will also be playing keyboards so it should be easy enough, the most important thing is that they can also sing in TUNE and pick up harmony very fast.

I think the band could also need at least one stringed instrument, perhaps a cello, as it could be used like a drone for some of the songs and may sound nice with my voice, again I'm not looking for a brilliant cellist as all accompaniment is sparse and minimalist but as I said for the keyboardist, singing in harmony for some of the songs is required. Maybe a male voice would be nice for lower parts or if you're a lady and have an alto's range this could work.

We will be playing along with my electronic stuff also, just so you're aware and anyone who has an interest in this sort of thing, who also has keyboard skills and can sing harmony would be held in very high regard (and is welcome to apply).

Any other instruments that people may think would suit are welcome, but make sure you can sing harmony!

The band will rehearse approx. once a week in Dublin, possibly in a rehearsal studio in Harolds cross or near there. First we will pick about six of my songs and work on them for maybe two weeks. Then I'll arrange some open mike gigs so we can get used to being on stage together, with a view to getting remuneration for future gigs.

I think the most important thing to know is that I would love to keep the general feel of all the songs, but I'm open to all suggestions. I like things to be fairly minimal.

let me know if you're interested anyway,
    Thanks for reading.
