Who knew what in advance of the Stockholm terrorist attack?

The warning below from someone in the Swedish Armed Forces to a friend seems pretty accurate in terms of what followed. It will be interesting to see who knew what and why if warnings were being given why the general public were not made aware of the heightened risk.

“If you can, avoid Drottninggatan today. A lot can happen there…just so you know,”

Obvious somebody knew something if the report is true, maybe Sweden need's some new laws or something, nothing works as good as terrorists to get them changed in a hurry.

Evidently it's being tied to a phone call made to a Swedish newspaper and the internal security service. Perhaps someone in the latter organisation heard about the proposed attack and warned a friend despite the attack being dismissed as fiction. I'd imagine such services get numerous calls every day with similar threats but they can't shut down major population areas everytime such information comes in.

Maybe it's just me but these instantaneaous and unlikely personality transformations reek of MKULTRA.
“There is no doubt that Taimur changed when he went to Britain,” said the friend, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “He would drink beer with his friends and go nightclubs. He didn’t care about politics or religion. He even had an Israeli girlfriend. He had many girlfriends, he enjoyed life.

Or a typical, if not more extreme example of what happens when impressionable youths move to college and take on ill-advised political stances, in this case with a dangerous combination of religious extremism?

Also bear in mind given his age he couldn't have been subjected to MKULTRA testing. :)
