I woke this morning at 7:30am to read the above headline on RTE's Aertel only to find that it had been removed by 8:00am.

Whats the story here? Did I imagine this or has anyone else seen it.

The top headline 30 minutes later led with some RTE/FF Sein Fein bashing.

Well tbh, its not exactly a huge news story given the fact that they are the opposition party and have slammed FF for not negotiating properly on the deal.
That said I think they will be happy to vote no, knowing full well it will pass.

As for RTE, you're right, Im boycotting their news, its useless, they pick and choose what headlines worthy. Very convenient that the topic you mention , and the Alan Dukes topic isnt seen in the headlines yet Gerry Adams face is splashed in front of you.

boycotting is probably a bad word as I was forced to pay for their service via TV license.

To call RTE news journalism would be akin to calling Jedwards' latest pile of tripe art. RTE deal in sensationalism, sophistry, s!hit stirring and they manage to do it all with an air of utter, total arrogance. Unless of course it's a minister or TD from the party currently in power. And all of this is before we even discuss the non media aspects of the station. Petulant soap operas, second rate dramas and cringingly bad reality TV.

Oh yes, if ever I found myself wielding power, RTE would perhaps be the first thing on my list to shut down.
