Bonus Payments

I run a small company with two dedicated staff. They have not had a pay rise for some time and if they receive more than 19cents per hours they will lose more than they will gain and thats before the budget.

We have broken even plus some over this year in large part to their dedication and commitment and doing everything and more on a shoe string.

I would like to give them something but they both agree there is little point in increasing their wages to see it all disappear. Can we legitimately give them a one off bonus payment of say 250 cash that they will receive rather than tax man. Is there anything that we can do for them?
