    Hey guys,

Looking for a compact radio with ipod dock for the wife for Christmas.

Nothing too fussy but ideally would do:

    Normal FM Radio
Internet Radio (we're out of DAB range in Wicklow I believe)
    WiFi
    iPod Dock

Want to keep it under €150.

Let me know what you've got. I'm open to suggestions :)

Techno - apologies for the delay getting back to you - here are a few options!

    http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/d/dcm276_05/dcm276_05_pss_eng.pdf

    That’s a cute unit that plays USB/Iphone/CD etc – wall or table mountable – DCM276 - €89.99

Teac Aurb – sounds amazing and looks really funky - http://www.teac.co.uk/products/aurb.php CD/Iphone/CD/USB/Radio £219.95/€268

    Pioneer NAS5 http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/42/202/227/XW-NAS5-K/index.html £169.95 / €199

Pioneer XW-NAV1 – Great unit http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/42/202/227/XW-NAV1-K/index.html Probably would be my choice – included DVD/CD (with upscaler!), sounds great, USB /Radio/Aux input

    No dock (but beautiful!)

    http://www.monitoraudio.co.uk/products/airstream/airstream-10/your-radio

This is the one with DAB & internet radio (there is another version without DAB) £139.95 / €165 (its available in white as well)

BTW - you are soooooo good buying your OH a nice bit of technology for her Christmas present - is she as into gadgets as you are? ;);) (oh 'er)

    Keep me posted,

    Hi John
The monitor audio looks great, can a dock be got for it?

    Thanks
    Paul

    Hi Paul.

Monitor Audio don't do a dock but it does have an input on the rear so you can connect a dock to it.

The cambridge ID10 at £19.95 with £9.95 for the optional remote control would be the cheapest one that we do.

What Ipod have you got ?

Or maybe I should say, what Ipod is santa brining you ?

    Thanks guys,

I had spotted the DCM276 on the Philips site. I rang and spoke to Ash yesterday morning but he was out of stock and wasnt expecting them in until Tuesday. How quickly things change in a few hours!

Anyway, I actually picked up a 276 closer to home in Wexford for the same price.

    Thanks anyway

P.S. Although I do like my gadgets my wife does actually want this!
She is always complaining about having to switch on all the home cinema stuff and there being too many buttons to press just to listen to a cd!!

    Hey guys.

    What would you have in
    1) DAB & CD Player?
    And
    2) DAB & CD Player & iPhone dock?

Missus is grumbling for something in the kitchen. he dock is for me, so not compulsory, but I'd like to see what you have.

    Many thanks.
