Hi all, hoping that you may be able to help us in a search for an artificial christmas tree. Looking at a 7 or 8ft tree.

B&Q had some really nice one's (although a little pricey) but sold out.
Woodlies have a couple, as do McDonagh's but not exactly what we were looking for. Any help with shops / places in or out of the city that may have some would be great. Thanks.

Penneys, Tesco (don't know if ones in the city would have as big a range as my local one does), Argos, Instore?

    Will try Instore tomorrow.

woodies, they have nice ones up to at least 7ft

McGaughs on headford road have a huge selection of artificial trees and there's one out there that must be nearly 10ft if you're looking for a big big tree!

8ft is pretty big. i wonder where all the hotels & shopping centres get theirs, it might be worth asking around if you know anyone in that kind of business?

Dunnes have 7ft ones for €130. They are actually pretty impressive, very full from top to bottom! Really good value!

It's crazy the prices of some of the fake trees when my mother got her usual 12ft real tree for €40 including delivery.

Fake trees last longer, if anyone is around Loughrea or Athenry, Billy's have a 7ft one for €50, looks very well too.

That said, €40 delivered for a 12ft tree is excellent value too.

Made a visit to McGaughs, great selection but €275+ for a tree is a little excessive. Almost all of the tree's are this price but very nice but sadly no deal to be had :(
