I wouldn't think so to be honest. Might be passable as a starter but I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. A beginner does not need a pick up and an experienced player would not touch that guitar so if you are looking for a starter guitar add 30 or 40 quid and get a decent solid top guitar with no pickup.

damn 80e for that, was expecting like 40e in lidl.

i reckon you could get a better one for same price

You could get a far superior secondhand guitar for €100 or so

This is available in Lidl later in the week:

Is this bound to be any good? AFAIK Lidl do these every now and again, anyone ever picked one up?

You wouldnt get a good electro acoustic for that price.I dont know if you are a new player or you want to step up to electric acoustic. If a new player looking for a starter...a yamaha F310 would cost about 120 eoro,,,maybe a little less...this would be very playable. If you want to step up,you would be wanting to spend more than what the guitar in the advert costs......I hope this helps.

Nope different woods used. Bass wood is used in the lidl piece of muck. Its not a resonant would and I wouldnt touch either of those with a barge pole.

    For the Lidl one:
With bridge piezo pickups and amplifier with integrated 4-band equaliser (bold my emphesis)

I'm sure its the preamp they mean but does anyone else see how that could be very misleading. Something like that could really mess up a christmas for someone.
