    Hi Folks,

Just wondering does anyone have an opinion on these? Look pretty handy. I was thinking about using them in a digital set up without having to buy a dedicated controller. I already have a Maya44 and a mixer. So from a hardware end they might fit the bill.

    Thoughts?

Looks pretty handy to me - to use alongside a DVS obviously. I'd possibly consider getting them when I get Scratch, and selling my X1s. Would much prefer with one knob though, as a dry/wet knob for effects.

Would be absolutely pointless to use in a controller only setup though IMO.

Ya deffo need knobs. I was looking at that myself but changed
My mind and now have the xenon dnhc 1000s on the way.
Knobs and has 3 pages for different maps.

Thanks for the replys folks. My reasoning is I have a decent mixer and a decent sound card. So as a small set up for smaller gigs, either side of the mixer, would be handy for controlling Traktor etc as opposed to a larger controller. Plus for the price, makes it very attractive.

You planning to use it for Traktor Pro, not Traktor Scratch? Definitely wouldn't advise that. Go for an X1, it'll be definitely worth the money. Controlling Traktor with just a Dicer would be a nightmare!

To be honest, I've done some look at controllers and the Xone range is sorely tempting. Its a toss between the CDJ850's and the Xone 4D.

Yeah but it'd be a bit overkill.

I use the dicers for serato and there good,

I mainly use them for cue points and loops,

if your looking to do efx from your dvs the dicers won't cut it, you will need something with knobs on it to control the parameters of the efx
