    Hi all,
At about 12.45/12.50pm today I noticed an easyJet aircraft preparing to land in Dublin Airport.

Do they fly there now or was it an emergency landing or something??

Probably an emergency, As much as i'd love them to come back it'll never happen, apparently last time they came here MoL reduced prices on Ryanair for the routes easyjet were using to next to nothing

I would have thought that EZY would have all their aircraft registered in the UK under the G reg wonder why they have that bus under the Swiss reg.
All the FR boeings are under Irish reg not unless EZY set up a different company operating out of Zurich under different T&C as the Swiss dont come under EU regs etc.

My guess is that it's more likely because of airspace rights, rather than regulations... but I may be totally off on this one :)

Yeah I was thinking down those lines all right but thought that the likes of the legacy carriers would have the same problem,Also my crowd have N reged aircraft based there feeding into the other hubs within europe.

Indeed- it basically gives them rights to fly from Geneva to Tel Aviv and Turkey, places like that. Operating under their UK AOC would not give them those rights.
