Girl bet up in Balbriggan last night

Just wondering did anyone see a girl being bet up by a bloke last night in Balbriggan.A girl stopped my Hubbie and I to point out a guy that had kicked some girl and beat her up.We didnt see any girl, and I just wondering , if it really happened and where the girl went to .
