Toll Charges

I have a Commercial LWB Land Cruiser and I used it on the M50 twice yesterday, went in to the shop to pay the Toll and it was over 10 Euro:eek:
The lady in the shop told me it goes by the weight on the log book so I'm wondering then why they only charge the standard commercial rate (E4-30) when I use the Toll bridge on the N4 and once I used the "exact change" only lane on the M6 Toll and they only charged me E1-90.
This is very confusing, would it be the same if I got an Etag? It's prices like this that's putting me off getting one.

They are all different companies so have different rates.

M50 Eflow charge 3 rates for commercial vehicles.

    M4/M6 Eurolink have 2 rates

They made a mistake when they let you through for €1.90 so I wouldn't say anything as they'll be looking for it.

I think he means the M6 at Ballinasloe not the Eurolink one as its standard is nearer to 3 than 1.90.

I've got a light commercial and frequently get charged 1.90 at the tag lanes by the N6 Concession toll at Ballinasloe; I think it uses ANPR and if it fails, charges a car rate.

They have €3.40 as their price, with 2 rates.

That's why I told the OP to say nothing;)

I just checked the log book there and it's down as 2150kg so the rate for an unregged vehicle is 5 Euro, bit crazy though that it's classed in the same category as a 10000kg commercial:mad:
