    Hi,

I would love to get a red lipstick that has gold flecks in them for Christmas. I know maybelline used to do one called Ruby Star but it appears to have gone off the market.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be really grateful.:)

Mac do a shade called "O" which is a sheer red that can be built up with gold flecks through it, if you want to go high end. Personally I always felt that I could feel the glitter in it though, and the gritty sensation just annoyed me.
Rimmel do a fabulous red cream shimmer though called "Temptation". The flecks are tiny so not obviously gold, but when the light catches them it's lovely. Also the particles aren't gritty, if that's something that would bother you?
Alternatively, Essence and Catrice are doing lovely sheer metallic glosses at the moment that you could layer over lipstick for a more metallic effect?
    HTH :)

The avon one was what sprung to mind when I saw the post title - have the polish ordered for Christmas!
