one new book each month to read and discuss.

Books can cover any aspect of trading or trading related activities.

Maybe we should start with a classic like New Market Wizards for december.

But we would need to get a list together so people can have a chance to beg/borrow/steal them.

So what do you guys think? any books you could recomend?

Fair play Mr Marri, you've started some pretty good threads over the last while.

I've read most of the basic trading books over the last two years or so, so I may need to root them out again to contribute to this thread, but I'd be well up for it.

I've posted a few books in the Useful Websites and Books sticky so that could be a good place to start?

Thanks for the link, I know what I'll be doing this holiday season .

The only one I would add to the above list is Long Term Capital Management, good read and has many similarities to what has happen today. (and no we never learn).

I've actually read The New Market Wisards before, but it was a good few years ago and my perspective and trading style has changed enormously since then so I'm really looking forward to rereading with new eyes.
I actually have a soft spot for this book as it was the first one that got me really interested in trading, that and it's an easy and entertaining read. So I thought it would be a good pick for a first book.
I really like the trader (sorry can't remember his name) at the end of the book who when asked where he gets his stratagie from, basicly says God tells me what and when to trade :eek:. So if this works there's hope for us all yet.
