    Can anyone tell me how to shim, I don't really know what it involves or anything so any help is appreciated, Thanks

    This is what I know. Shims are like tiny washers on the axle of the three gears in your gearbox. They adjust the height of the three gears in relation to eachother. Basically they're there so that the gears' teeth aren't too tight together or too loose. If you have your shims set up right the gear box will run smoother and reduces the risk of teeth being striped off the gears by one another. It'll make your gearbox last longer.

    I found out about gearboxes from a webiste I heard about on boards,mechbox.com. It has superb video tutorials.
