She's also 18. What she does in the company of her friends is her own business. Yeah this got leaked, so what, this is part and parcel of being a celebrity.

Are you seriously expecting her to live her private life curtailed by the expectations of a bunch of children? She has done far worse things for her image so far in public.

And as far as hallucinogens go, salvia is about as friendly and safe as it gets. Boggles the mind as to why it's illegal over here.

But the point is this, she may be 18, she may have just been doing a job on Disney, but the point is she HAS to accept that taking the millions means she does have a duty of care those those young girls.

I don't know when that duty of care ends, i get in principle what you're saying but the realities are different for her whether she accepts it or not.

It made me want to do salvia. Well, no, but it made me want to punch her in her stupid mouth. Also, there's that awkward moment when she doesn't even clear the damn thing. Never seen anyone hit salvia from a bong though - I imagine it would mess you up pretty good.

What is even sadder is that she is looked up to so much more than those two were. She wasn't just a musician or just an actress - she has a monopoly on the entire childhood market. Music, movies, TV, clothes, video games, etc. I guess this is "growing up".

whats the problem, she is an adult, doing something thats legal, if she was having a few bottles of beer( something that would be illegal for her to do) there wouldnt be this much of a deal made about it, is cos its a drug that alters your mind and makes you halucinate that people have an issue with? im no miley cyrus fan, just curious

She was also caught drinking in a nightclub recently!
Maybe she's just acting like a regular teenager but she's in the public eye so she'd wanna sort herself out. It might only be a harmless "drug" now but what is she gonna be like in a few years when this harmless drug isn't enough for her.

I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly what was in that bong, though her reaction certainly makes me believe she was smoking salvia. The uproar is due to the effect it will have on the many kids that look up to her. Kids are very easily influenced... this looks bad on her and her reputation.
