Another 60gig dead and sorry for new thread

Guys another sad day my 60 gig launch model just died. but im just getting a straight red flashing light instead of yellow then red. Ive fixed a ylod and that ps had a yellow light for a sec and then red . Does it mean that my 60 gig has a diff prob. Any ideas greatly accepted before i open my ps. I did try a search on red…
