For those in the know this is the Ferrari of Kitchen towels. Forget all that 4 for 3 Euro or 2 for 2 Euro kitchen towel crap, that stuff is hardly worth calling toilet paper. You will go through it in no time. Pure false economy.

    But not Regina Blitz!

It lasts way longer that most of the other types. Regina Blitz is one of the few that you can ring out and use again (Can't claim to have tried them all) It does not fall to bits and it is lint free which is handy for grease soaking for a fry or chips.

Note it is the "Blitz" version and not the XXL version. Sad that I know this stuff and even sadder that I know it is an absolute steal at 3 Euro for the double roll pack.

Usually 5 Euro for two (4.95 in Super value) The single ones sell for about 2.30 STG in the UK http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/Tissues_And_Toilet_Rolls/Regina_Blitz_All_Purpose_Kitchen_Towels.html

If it is not a bargain for you then do your mother or father a favour and grab them one or two packs. They will thank you in the long run.

I think it is fair to say my youth is forever gone :( I'm still a big child though!

Not that informative obviously since you mixed it up with "arse-paper":)

Funnily enough, I was doing the weekly shopping this afternoon in Dunnes and I saw this bargain and bought 3 packs. It really is the best kitchen roll around.

Jesus Christ where has my life gone wrong:eek::confused::P

Well... "lah-de-daa" to you with your fancy kitchen rolls - primarily meant for people who don't understand the point of a tea towel! :D

"Kitchen Roll" is a posh term for toilet roll designed for people with big arses! ;)

Or.. maybe.. I didn't read the original post fully.

Funniest thing I've read on bargain alerts:)

I swear it is the best I have tried. When you get to the end of one you think... must get some more and then you find the second one in the press from the original two pack!

It really does out last most of the other cheaper bargain versions. I could probably do the maths on 3 ply and price per foot but .. like...well...

    :(

Ah lads.. if ya can't ask serious questions, what's the point of this Bargain Alert?

So how is it for mopping up blood and / or semen? Cos I might be having a party later, and it could go one of two ways! :pac:
