thanks guys for your replies but honestly this man is decked out! internet radio, he has the whole bleedin house rigged up to each other!! only he can work anything because he has everything wired up all over the house. The other day I was in the sitting room and i could hear the whole conversation my mother was having on skype up stairs. He has the computer rigged through the speakers!! honestly it's impossible to even turn the tv on there are that many things to do!! any more ideas?? I got him a book today...not a great start

I'm single no kids .... but as a guy who gets all the stuff I'm into for myself like your dad from the sounds of it . get him something that he would like but not ever buy for himself, difficult I know but I am expecting a major headache of having to return games/dvd/general stuff I already have on Dec./26

I'm going to have to get it for myself due to singleness but my well past it's sell by date MoVember beard is getting an xmas eve hot towel shave, get him one of those!!!!!!! it's like a spa break for a guy
