Where to go?

Hey guys, created a new account because I want this to be anonymous. Sorry if it's in the wrong place, mods please move if it is.

I am not seeking any medical advice or breaking any charter rules, just want to ask a couple questions.

My girlfriend has had a very hard life. I won't go into it but I am fairly sure that it is affecting her badly right now. We are both young, she is just gone 18. We are students so we don't have money. Mentally, she is in a mess. She does not have any mental illness (that I know of) but she is upset alot. I am wondering where we can go for help? She said she would talk to someone professionally but she doesn't have the money. Suffice to say, her parents aren't going to pay for it.

What options are out there for people who need someone to talk to? Again, we really don't have any money but I don't want things to spiral out of control.

We do not give out advice like that here, but before I lock the thread I will said get here to her GP, the gp can take it from there. There are options though the pysch service which you can access through you GP
