I've always loved Brand Nubian, but only recently checked out the artists' solo stuff. Grand Puba's Retroactive (2009) is well worth checking out. Puba's album 2000 is a classic and should be in everyone collection. The one flaw is that he sings something like "everything is grand, and everything is poo" in the title track
