I have one, it's excellent, but the pods are hard to get, and expensive. You can buy something called a coffee duck which replaces the pod holder, and allows you to use any ground coffee you want. Om nom nom nom.

Picked this up the other day for a Christmas gift.

Don't know how difficult it is to get pods.. am pretty sure they're in my local Tesco.

Yeah I got one of these last year as a gift and I love it, I use it everyday with the coffee duck :)

If you like any particular senseo coffee pods then ordering from here in bulk(100+) is a good idea http://www.coffeepodshop.co.uk/shop/

I recommend the Senseo City range...

Probably a silly question but ... do you get a smooth cup of coffee like in a proper coffee shop?
I have a cafetiere (sp?) but am not too keen on coffee out of it no matter which brand I've tried .... could be tempted by one of these if the coffee is good!

I got one of these earlier this year together with the coffee duck from Amazon.de when they had a good offer on the machine.

Really like it as it gives you a really warm cup of coffee.

The standard water tank is a bit small giving 4 cups or 2 mugs but you can get an XL tank with much better capacity. Shop around you can get it at a better price than in the link.

The duck works best with very fine ground coffee.

I bought one of these on friday for my BFs christmas pressie. Im looking to get a travel mug to fit under it for him to take to work. Can anyone recommend any - I know it'd have to be short and stubby! I wrapped it up before taking any measurements!:)

The gap from the tray to the outlet is 95mm.

I think its out of stock everywhere, i used argosstock.com and its coming up blank? not showing a tick or a cross so im not sure but checked a few random stores on the argos site itself and was out of stock :(

Just as an FYI to anyone thinking of getting this, the Nespresso ones are a billion times better than these.
I'm not sure how expensive the machines can be (there is a range) but the pods themselves are much easier to get and the coffee is amazing.

I got one of these a few years ago, tried a good few different pods but didn't like any of them. Might get the coffee duck and resurrect it.

Its a tall order I was looking for a short travel cup lately I gave up going to get a couple of these delivered to the inlaws:

It's probably still too tall for this coffee maker but may fit if you remove the bottom drainage tray.

The one pictured seems to be the exact same as mine which is a HD 7812/50 but I didn't get mine in Argos so can't guarantee that the one you get is the same model.

One reserved in Ashbourne that I am not in a position to collect before CoB tonight.

If anyone wants the Res.No. just let me know.

Failing that, wait until midnight and reserve it for yourself.
