Ive got a 94 diesel Toyota corolla,my battery went dead and when i fully charged it the car wouldn't start.the alarm is going off every time i close the door or bonnet.there's a red light on continuous beside the handbrake.just want to know is there a fuse or something that can be taken out to lose the immobiliser.

Try locking and unlocking the car

I assume this is an aftermarket alarm and you don't have either of the fobs? Have you the key for it?

I don't think it after market, the chip isnt in the key but on a seprate key ring but when i press the button to open/close car nothing happens the battery in key ring is a new one.

That sounds either aftermarket or maybe UK dealer fitted. Did the fob work before? Is there a much smaller key on either keyring?

Try disconnecting the battery. Turn the key to ignition on position and then reconnect the battery. This deactivates a lot of those older alarms.
