Train Ticket Prices?

    Hi!

    just looking at the price list on the irish rail website. i'm 17 so if i want to go from wexford to greystones on a single ticket will i have to pay €22.50?
    just wondering or am i reading it wrong?

    I would say that is right. I know the Day return is €22.50 and in most cases the single fare is the same as the day return fare on the Rosslare line.

    Are you looking at the child fares? As you are over 16, you can't avail of a child fare.

    I suspect your fare will be either approximately €28.50 (On Friday and Sunday) or €22.50 (rest of week).

    Get yourself a Student Travel Card (other student cards don't count) and you can avail of the student rate. http://www.studenttravelcard.ie/

    The peak fare on Friday and Sunday does not apply on the Dublin to Rosslare route. This was stopped about two years ago.
