Labels list is good R & S records is legendary and should be no 1,.the DJ;s list is even worse than DJ Mag in my book:eek:

They really do have a massive hard on for Ricardo Villalobos, I really like the guy, he has a few serious tunes, but surely they can find some new up and coming guys that deserve to fill a few of the top 10 spots instead of the same old same old.

Is it bad that the only one in that top 5 DJ's, that I have heard of is Richie Hawtin!

What's Techo and why do you have to prostitute yourself to be part of the club?

Lol, that should have been "Techno" and "Studying"... I'm still asleep today...

Half the list is either Fabric, Kompakt or Ostgut Ton

    They definitely have their favourites.

Sebastian Mullaert must have been No. 21....

Edit: complications? All these spelling mistakes, what were you up to in that fancy club this weekend young Zascar?

Nah just wing it. Occasionally say a tune sounds alright, make a derogatory comment about Tiesto and Deadmau5 every few months and you'll be grand...

Dunno bout that, been many late entries I've only discovered in the last couple of weeks - shot straight to the top too in the case of that ASC one!

Aye, that's a great album. He's got some quality mixes floating around in the internets somewhere too.

Jeff, while I wouldn't agree with Troxler at 3, if you've ever seen him you'll know he's an amazing Dj!

Also, WTF on Rush Hour being no.1 - that Ron Hardy reissue got serious props on RA - a 5/5 no less - BUT IT WAS A FCUKING REISSUE ffs - ok, so Kirk and c2 are legends but still. How Suol didn't get on there I don't know. And Diynamic - not cool enough for RA I reckon.

no other label came close to rush hour this year

    new stuff:
    kink/neville watson-metropole
    hunee-bobos free in paradise
    Rick Wilhite-Vibes Album
    tom trago-voyage direct
    house of jezebel-love and happiness

    reissue:
    Virgo album
    the unreleased trax stuff
    early KDJ Records
    anthony shakir comp

the way they run their business/label/shop etc is the model that most small dance labels will have to follow in coming years

check out the interview with the owner on RA, really interesting

On the new front they had an unreal year- the Dexter release, and all the cosmin trg/falty dl stuff.

My favourite reissue of theirs was the Boo Williams EP.

Did anyone listen to this? I take it that's an audio glitch on the opening track and not some kind of bizarre effect.
Or is it my feckin' headphones?

Now there is another that slipped past me... 'Glass Eights' by John Roberts. Listened to a couple of tracks just now and I'm seriously tempted to get my sh1t together and head into town to pick this up.
