The ISS is holding its December lecture next Wednesday, December 15th, when Martin Codyre and Dr Stephen Sullivan, directors from the Irish Stem Cell Foundation will speak on:

Stem cell research: the promise and the challenge.

Martin Codyre is an engineer who was paralysed in a fall in 2008 and he will present in person. Dr Stephen Sullivan is Chief Scientific Officer and joins us via Skype from California. Both presenters are strong advocates for active research, legislative action and public education in this area. There's more about their work available from:

The talk is at 8pm in the Gandon South Suite in the Davenport Hotel at Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Admission is €3 for members and concessions and €6 for non-members.
