I was on this show, but I'm an actor in Hollywood now.
Would be interested in knowing more also.

A girl I went to school with was on it - she was taken to a theme park or something. She said the word f*ck while on one of the rides and they showed it, you couldn't hear it but it was obvious that's what she said. She also confirmed it - good times :)

It was actually called The Works?

RTE must have forgotten all about it, then, when they were coming up with a replacement for The View... :D;)

Yeah it was called The Works.

They played some video before the show talking about some inventor or science thing. Then to go first they asked the audience of kids from both schools a question, and whoever answered first; their team went first on the board.

I had the answer so I was elbowing the girl beside me to answer it but she wouldn't stand up... nobody else knew the answer and there was an awkward silence, of dumbfounded kids and the presenters not sure what to do.

Just before Mary asked some poor random child for the answer, up I stood, put my hand on my head and said my name out loud to answer the question for our school. Over comes Mary Kingston with the Mic and I answered the question all red-faced with embarrassment because I had a bit of a horn for her back in the day.

I got the question right anyway and we went first. We won it by a point in the end and ended up winning the two Yamaha keyboards for our school.

Even got Mary's autograph after the show!
