Magpul MOE Handguard - Installation

    Hi guys,

My MOE handguard arrived today; replacement for the standard carbine handguard. Is there anything I have to do to the M4 to make it fit? It's a JG M4 - I thought it was just a drop in replacement, but it doesn't seem to fit, and I'm reluctant to force it. It looks as if the front sight-post needs to be moved 1cm approx to allow it fit.

    Any ideas?

    Edit:

I just took off the front sight post - it seems that the Delta Ring & the corrosponding ring at the front of the front sight (unfamiliar with the proper name for this) are too narrow for the width of the handguard i.e. the handguard's ridges too thick to slot in comfortably; I assume that I need a new delta ring & front ring, or that I should sand/file the crap out of the handguard

I'm 90% certain it's the delta ring that's the problem - anyone with a JG M4 put an MOE handguard on that can verify?
