Syncing itunes US account with Irish itunes account

I set up a US iTunes account on my work computer bought a voucher and bought some TV shows not available on the Irish iTunes.

The problem I have is when I synced my iPhone with the US account it wiped all my Irish iTunes music and films. I then synced my iPhone with my Irish iTunes account on my home laptop and it wiped the US iTunes stuff I’d downloaded.

My issue is I predominantly use my iTunes material for my daily commute to and from work. Therefore it’s awkward having to switch between accounts.

Is there a way I can have both on the one iTunes? If I download stuff on my US iTunes on my home laptop will it automatically be picked up when I log into my Irish iTunes when? I'm probably being stupid here but if anyone could help me it would be great.

Get everything onto the one computer, then do the sync.

I think you can do it with two different computers, you just have to be very careful as to what is ticked for syncing and what isn't on each computer. But if you get everything onto the one computer there are definitely no problems as I have done this myself with TV shows from the US iTunes store and all my other stuff from the Irish store.
