    Hi,

I had a quick skim through the clubs listing here but was also looking for advice. I'm interested in trying MMA in the new year, been talking about it for years so time to get off my ass and do it. I live in Milltown and work in Blackrock in Dublin so I suppose somewhere not a million miles away from either of them would be best. I've heard great things about Kokoro but think it might be a bit too far away for me.

Is the UCD mma club open to non students? or are there any other gyms in that general area that would be suitable for a beginner?

Theyre not goin this year as they didnt get a coach to replace the awesome Jim:(.
Also as far as I know the college clubs can only accept students and alumni.

    Thanks for the reply.

Surely if they opened it up to non-students, they'd be able to make more money, which they could then use to get an awesome new coach.

UCD clubs are supported by the university so they can keep costs down. If they let in non-students, they'd lose that funding and the price would go up for everyone.
