    Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I go about becoming a design & technology teacher in Ireland. What university / course should I be applying to?

I have been looking for postgrad courses in Ireland but design & technology only seems to be available as a postgrad PGCE option in the UK.

I have a degree in Architectural Technology with 10 years work experience.

I am currently teaching ESL in Korea which I find enjoyable but longterm I don't want to teach ESL or stay in Korea.

    Grateful for any advise. :)

    hi -
Check UL for degree and post grad for teaching Technology which is closest we have to D + T. They also do construction and T graphics which also might be useful. [ Will depend on your degree - check the teaching council document on approved degrees for subjects] You can do pgce in D & T at queens and UU [ northern ireland] also in these ideas I think?
