Basically Im a fairly big lad and I need need to improve my posture and strengthen my core, my shoulders role forward and I have done alot of weighttraining down the years which has caused these problems because I have neglected my core and back for the chest and shoulders, I was wondering which would be better for me to correct my alignment?

I would recommend Pilates. It's slightly faster paced, which I imagine would appeal to you, if you're a regular gym goer type. It's also very concerned with posture and developing the core. I'm tall also, and I noticed a huge improvement in my posture after I started Pilates.
