a hat trick

we went out again tonight, this time the club chairman and his son were with us.
we got three foxes, two dogs and a vixen.
the first lad was out in the field when dad turned on the lamp, i didnt have a good rest as i couldn't lie down because of rushes in the field, so i gave a quick blast of the rabbit distress and he came in a bit and started to circle around in front of us.
i rested the rifle on a concrete post and gave a lip squeak to stop him, i sqeezed off a round and he dropped like a stone a 120 yards.
we turned on the caller again and within about two minutes another guy comes in over the hill.
he was giving me a better shot so i went prone and dropped him at 205 yards.
we walked on up on top of bridge crossing the tracks and shone into the fields either side of the tracks.
we spotted a pair of eyes about 150 yards away, the fox was sitting in a bit of a hollow so i could only make out her head and neck. i dropped into a kneeling position with the rifle resting on the barrier going up the side of the bridge, i had to zoom in the scope a bit and once i got the crosshairs settled on the foxes nose i squeezed off another round, and there was the hat trick.
we tried a few other places and saw two more foxes but the shots weren't safe so we said "see you some other night" to them.
the young lad was delighted at getting to see the foxes being shot, he'd never been lamping before so it was great for him to see a good bit of action on his first night out.
i'm sorry i haven't any photo's for ye lads but i cant connect the phone to the laptop. i'll try and bring the mothers digital camera the next night, if she'll give it to me that is

there so handy when it comes to searching for all the different usb's 3 cameras and 4 phones alone in the house and nearly all different usb leads. at least with that all you got to do is pop the memory card in and away you go with just the one usb.

Not so, he can just plug it in using the iphone USB, open up 'My Computer' and remove the pics like he would in a digital camera.

How do you know someone has an iPhone? Cos they'll tell you!
