What to expect: Fleet Foxes / Arcade Fire / Iron & Wine influenced folk music.

After the success of their gig in the Twisted Pepper back in September, Traz take to the stage again for another installment of their unique live show. Instruments plied are guitars, saxophone, violins, piano and vocals, which come in the form of soaring choir-style harmonies in 2,3 and 4 parts depending on the piece / gig. Heavily influenced by the likes of Fleet Foxes, Iron and Wine, Bon Iver et al, Traz first got noticed on the fresh air festival hosted by Donal Dineen on today fm back in November '09. Since then they've been performing gigs in other small venues around Dublin & have had their heads down writing & recording new material diligently. Having received a startling amount of praise in such a short space of time, Traz have made it clear that they are certainly ones to watch for 2011.

Here's a review of their very first gig at the Stoney Batter Block Party, an honourable mention in the Irish Times, and a video podcast from their appearence on Donal Dineen's show on Today FM.
