Have flights booked into Grenoble on the 31st of December for myself and 4 friends.
Having problems with the tour operator and after finding out details which werent disclosed at the beginning thinking of changing our plans and sort it ourselves.
Had planned on travelling to Les Deux Alpes
    Basically need to know:

    Accomodation-Preferably Hotel/Chalet

    Info on Lift passes

    Info on Ski/Board Rental

Id like to keep with the same resort Les2Alpes as i will know others there at the time, but if it comes to it can change resort as long as i can get there from Grenoble.

Any info anyone can give me would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance

Been to les Deux alps a few of times before and have used www.2alps.com
before for accommodation, good selection of large apartments and hotels.have stayed in both the alpina lodge and the cortina, can recommend them both.

It also has all the info on the lift passes on there with an option to book them online, or you can just pick em up in resort, its not that much of a hassle.

For ski rental we booked with skiset.com and picked up from slide planet which is very central to the main lifts. You can pick up on the Saturday if your in on time, saves a lot of hassle on the Sunday morning when you just want to get up the hill.

If your looking for transfers from airport we used bens bus last year, good enough service, but if there is enough in your group it might be cheaper to rent a car/ mini bus at the airport or organize private transfers.

Heading there early next year, never been before but we have basically done exactly what Optimum has said! Booked accommodation on that website, getting bens bus transfer from airport and back, haven't booked skis or lift pass yet but don't think there will be any problem with them.

I've been to Les2Alpes 9 times including summer trips. I'd also highly recommned www.2alpes.com for accommodation. The standard of accommodation they provide is excellent. An apartment is a much better option than a hotel as they are far more spacious; always an advantage on a skiing/snowbaording hol considering the clothes, gear etc.

No need to pre-book gear rental as there will be plenty in the resort at the time you are going. Brun Sports is a good option. It is the closest shop to the lifts, provides lockers so you don't have to drag your skis/boards back to your apartment every evening and the standard of gear is excellent. Because of this they tend to be slightly more expensive than other shops but not by much and, for me, the advantages are worth the bit extra. Alternatively, Carrell sports opposite the Polar Bear bar are also excellent.

*Just to add in - Ski Republic operate from Carrell Sports in L2A, ie they're the same shop!

Ben's Bus is great for transfers. If you're considering a car rental, don't forget to account for the cost of petrol/deisel when deciding which is more cost effective (Ben's Bus transfer is £49, approx €55). A car rental does open up your options for acommodation as location within the resort becomes less important. We have stayed in L'Alba before - luxury standard but because they're located at one end of the town the price is not too expensive.

Have used www.ski-republic.com each time I have been skiing over the last 4 years and have found them brilliant each time. Friendly and helpful while still being professional! They have at least one store in L2A. I'm heading to the same resort the following week and will be using them again.

EDIT: Oh yea the reason I was plugging them was because they do 2 for 1 hire. So get a buddy and pay half the price
