Being smart: It shows moving pictures. That is about as much as I know about TVs.
Seriously: It says Techwood 32'' HD Ready. Irish Digital. 32LCDDSV10. If you can see any pitfalls in that let me know before I spend the money!

I wouldn't be to enthused about this TV and when you google it it only brings up one result.

The Hannspree is Full HD and has a 2 year warrenty.

Bought one of these from DID a few weeks back for 299 and I think its a fantastic TV. Though I would recommend external speakers of some sort as the low and mid range are very week on the in built speakers.

We have one of those TV's on show in my xtravision, quality picture on it I must say.

Just on this, we were told as long as the customer pays the full €300 by Sunday it can be ordered into the shop for them and will be in within a week.

If i was to get this tv this weekend, is it easy to hook up to my sky+ box or would i need an engineer to do it?

No you do not need to get someone to plug a cable into the back of your tv It makes you think a engineer to plug in a cable
what is Ireland comeing to ?

Really it's not that great of a tv my 3 year old 26 inch samsung is only hd ready but it has better specs then that

Thanks to Raycon & Samapple for the enlightened replies...:p

I was merely wondering seeing as my sky+ box is not HD would it need to be hooked up by a Sky engineer....

No, the existing cable your sky box has will plug straight into the back of this TV.

I also got this TV in DID a few weeks ago. Great picture, Saorview through my UPC cable, full HD. Two issues with it: sound isn't great, very dull bass; and stand it comes with it a bit "flexible", but fine so long as you don't have kids pulling at it.
