    Had a lad lined up to plaster a room in my house, just skimming. The ceiling was in a bad way. Explained this over the phone and he gave me a price for labour as I had materials for it. He showed up today, had a look at the job said he wanted to move his van, park it properly. He drove off and never came back. It was 30 minutes before I tried calling him but obviously got no answer. I reckon he had under priced me and the ceiling was worse than expected but he didn't even say that, just drove off. Was fairly pi$$€d off as had cleared the room that morning, fridge etc... and also had arranged overnight babysitters for kids.The funny thing is I had money there as I expected him to say it would be x amount more. Guess the building trade must be on the up if he can walk away from a job like that!!!

    Luckily enough found another plasterer and he started at lunch time and will finish off tomorrow!

    I bet you feel better after that. We cater for a lot of things but not rants.
