Budget 2011; Any affects for those studying in the UK?

AFAIK the grant has been cut. Bt what about those of us who have our fees paid by SAAS? Surely there may be a knock on affect as they wont want to many Irish students running across the water for a cheap degree. Why does SAAS pay our fees anyway?
