When we click on svae nothing happens.
When we click on save as no dialog box appears
When closing the document we are prompted to save but when clcking yes no dialog appears.
We have tried repairing the program
Tried deleting normal.dot but still the same issue

This only seems to affect onne guy's profile,
Someone else can log on to his machine and save normally.
Any ideas? its such a weird one :)

Is this after editing an existing document or creating a brand new one

Sometiimes this can happen on existing one if the file path is too long

if it only affects one profile

then either restore a backup of the profile
    or
login as admin and copy the profile ( ie. users documents and shortcuts ) and then delete profile, get user to login (creates new profile) and copy the files back

    Cheers Capt'n,

We have recreated the profile and the same issue.
Going to try him on a different machine tomorrow to see what happens
