This is a sport that is becoming more popular here with Sky/ESPN/C4 all showing live games and is a great sport to bet on with all the markets.

Ladbrokes have become so slow at pricing up markets they can fcuk off. Even on the day of the event they only have a few markets up unlike everyone else.

Anyways tonights game is the Colts at the Titans. Both played sh1t last weekend and I dont think i have ever seen a more hopeless performance than the Titans at home last weekend. They were crap and let the other team walk through them. The Colts go in as -3 favs at around 20-23 and fcuk it think ill just take this. They are 6-6 so need a win as do the Titans. Heres hoping when the sh1t hits the fan that Manning comes out firing. Colts total pts of over 24pts isnt too bad either but just going with the -3 spread with PP.

I'm a little wary betting on the colts at -3 or -3.5 tonight. I have been reading that almost 90% of the bets going through Vegas are on the colts. Over 80% of that each on the spread and money line. But yet the spread has barely moved from -3. Usually that type of money on a team would drive it up to -6 or -7. Either the bookies are gonna get cleaned out tonight or they know something the average punter doesn't.

Bookies seem to be putting an awful lot of stock in the Colts being on the road for the short week, as well as Manning's orgy of interceptions. I reckon the latter gets offset by the fact the Titans haven't turned the ball over in over 10 quarters of football. They're pretty dreadful, they haven't scored an offensive touchdown in 14 quarters either. The line was originally -2.5 for what it's worth, but I can't see anything other than a win for the Colts. I say 28-20.

I'm liking the Colts for the win myself but there is just this niggling feeling in the back of my mind stopping me from dropping the hammer on them. Think i might leave this to an in play bet. But then again the Titans have been horrible and even though they have an outside chance they look to have given up a long time ago.

Think i'm gonna stay up for this one. Gone for two singles, Colts -3.0 and Chris Johnson over 95.5 rushing yards.

Oh man was that annoying. Had €40 on Colts -3.5, Rangers to win v Ottawa, Celtics to win, Dallas to beat the Nets. Would have returned near 300 if Colts had beaten the spread.

Pain the ass! Came out with a small loss on that. Johnson got his yards but on the last drive the Colts just left him open every time; and with 4 seconds left the Titans get a TD.

The really annoying thing is they really should have gone for a field goal with 40 left on the clock at the Colts 30 and then gone for the onside kick, but old old Kerry Collins and his degrading mind couldn't think that fast.

Colts win by two, i lose by one.

I was considering putting 100 on the Colts at -3 until i read what i posted above. I waited in play to try take -2 but it never went to it. Unbelieveable how accurate the bookies were on this. Although i'm not surprised that they didn't get slaughtered on 2 national games in the space of 4 days. Lots of people were putting huge amounts of money on the Colts. Some were 6 figure sums and there was even a rumor that a fella put a million on them.

I meant to put a max bet on them but missed the start of the game (lost track of time studying of all things :o ). Didn't see the Titans keeping pace with the Colts. Quite scary how the bookies got this one right!

Handicap. I was reading a post on a forum from a well respected capper on Baseball who bets in the 6 figures himself and he said that he was hearing about someone who was putting a million on the Colts to beat the -3 spread. He was also hearing from the other side that a casino had took the bet. So probably some truth in there. Even if it wasn't a million it was probably a sunstantial amount. But if you have a million to put down chances are you'll be fine if you lose it.

wow..ya its defo something they can afford to lose, but its prob a once or twice a year size bet for that punter, still a massive bet in their eyes..

wouldnt be suprised if it was Kwamie Lassiter. a former nfl player himself but is now an extremely professional poker player, bets in the nfl with big stakes and has been linked to place bets with casinos instead of bookies due to having connections with his career now in poker..
    prob not though:p

A few owners and backroom staff are known to be big time players as well. Can't remember the owner but there was a rumor he had 500k on Saints to win the last Superbowl straight up. That was probably around the 2.40 mark so more than doubled the cash. There's also a shítload of syndicates that drop some serious money and sometimes it leaks on the net prior to the game when they are going huge on a game. That is usually a sign to go big yourself as they are rarely wrong when big stakes are involved.

Last season i cleaned up on the college football by following this fella on a forum that had inside knowledge on sharp sydicates. He said at the beginning of the season that he would post up around 11 plays that would be what them synd groups call sure things. He ended up posting 13 and only 3 lost. I was putting 500 on each of those bets. He posted the same thing up for this season but then never posted anything in the thread and hasn't had any posts since. Wonder what happened the chap.

Anyone got any ideas on the Giants game tonight? Thinking of taking the Giants at -5.0; just hoping they're well rested after the last few days.

Patriots down to 5-2 favs now after another impressive over the Bears 36-7 in Chicago. Brady looks back to his best this year and letting Randy Moss go is helping their offense no end. Couple that with a great defense and they are the team to beat this year.

Fcuk, backed over 7.5pts in the first quarter Chargers game last night. All looking good when SD score a TD within 2 mins. Of course then nothing.
