The ICC are a disgrace. They have no interest in developing cricket around the world. Time for this bunch of stuffy old dinosaurs to be put out to pasture and bring in new fresh minds with bright ideas on how to develop world cricket. Ive said it before and everytime I read more about the ICC I start to get more afraid of it; with the current ICC running the sport international cricket will be dead in less than 20 years. Of this I have absolutely no doubt.

Oh and someone needs to tell the ICC that, nice and all as T20 cricket is, in reality it doesnt matter a toss in the grand scheme of things, and no team, test or associate, is going to develop anything by playing T20. Associate members want test status, end of story. We might get a step closer by having success in proper ODI matches, but not in sideshow attractions like T20.

It seems to be the Scottish football mentality, try to get more games between the big teams to generate more gate and sponsorship money.

It's absolutely horrendous that because of the ICC's inability to organise a properly-ran world cup in 2007, they make the decision to axe all associate nations.

Look at how much Ireland and Afghanistan have developed their teams in the past half decade or so, as well as other great strides made by the likes of Holland. Yet they're rewarded by being more or less being locked out of international cricket. How can the world's governing body just do this; tell their associate members to go **** themselves? I cant believe this has happened.

I think all the associate members should leave the ICC in protest. Although some may see this as counter-productive, what is more counter-productive to their development than what the ICC just done?

Im not even going to follow this world cup, save for Irelands games.

    C.u.n.t.s.

I think its a fairly short sighted, throwing baby out with bath water decision. Bad if the Associate nations are only given the chance of a qualifying tournament.

What would be Completely unforgivable if its decided the 2015 is a closed shop and the 10 full members given free passes to ? the biggest limited overs tournament in cricket.

Worse than FIFA if the latter is the case, as any nation can try to qualify for their world cup.

I think the problem with this is honestly the ICC wouldnt care. Theyd just see it as freeing up more money to pump into their existing test nations and a whole lot less hassle without the associates to worry about. They have no interest in the associates as it is; theyd be only too delighted if we all walked out on them. Its not like there is any danger of the associates ever creating an association capable of competing with the ICC in terms of TV deals, size of games etc.
