Loop station songs...

With father xmas drawing close and delivering me with a Boss RC2 I thought id look for a few ideas for songs to play that work well on a loop station.

So something with a fairly simple bass line, some nice chords and the a lead line to play over! All other crazy ideas will be entertained also

So i just heard sweet home alabama on a youtube demo so thats my contribution!

Anything you can possibly imagine? Seriously, start with some chords, build a bass line, and start to add fills and what ever. No need to over think these things. Which reminds me, i haven't used my loop station in a long time!

Use the looper to playback the rhythm guitar and play the lead on top. Turn off the looper on the chorus.

Actually, come to think of it you could play almost any Television song this way.

Really im just looking for examples of songs that work well with a looper while im getting to grips with it! The fiddling about is a given, i just want a few popularish guitar songs to get me used to it and so i can have some fun and impress people!

this is a dublin based busker. great guitarist, uses the looper a lot. check out some of his other stuff too for ideas. i really like the atmosphere of this one. he does a great "fade to black" as well.
