can I back up Pc Iphone on a mac?

Hi

My phone is almost at the end of its warenty and I need to send it back to have em look at the headphone socket. I need to back it up but I don't have space on my own pc harddrive and don't seem able to clear enough. My friend has a new mac. Could I back it up on this and put my stuff back on iphone it gets cleared? Its been synced with my pc before

I don't think so cos it's not synced with the mac. Try get a loan of an ext hard drive and transfer some stuff to it and then do the backup
Is the pc not really slow with the hd so full

hmm prob right . Yeah computers not running great, i have a ex hard drive ordered but think itll take a while to come.tnks for reply

If your friend sets up a new user profile on the mac, then you can backup all the settings and contacts, sms's etc but not the music / video. Then you can restore from it on to the warranty replacement then sync your music / video back form your pc.

If you sign in to itunes on the mac you can "transfer purchases" so your apps will be saved in itunes

if you want to back up your iPhone's Content to mac ,you can try the iMacsoft iPhone to mac transfer.:rolleyes:It can fast transfer, rip, copy and manage your music, videos, photos, podcasts and TV Shows from iPhone to Mac.

you can back-up your iphone on your mate's mac no problem. Only problem is that you will loose you music. But things like contacts, photos, notes, mail accounts will be saved. All you have to do is hit cancel when plug in the phone to your mate's itunes. After that right click on the iphone icon on itunes and select back-up iphone. Very easy.
