    Hey

I noticed on the Aer Lingus website some mention of requiring advance passenger information for people traveling to Spain. Anyway, I ended up booking my flight to Spain with Ryanair but there was no mention of this during the booking process on their website. Does anyone know what the deal is?

    Hi
You will be asked to provide this information when you check in online - passport number etc. This is how it works with RyanAir so presume it is the same with Aerlingus also

Because you need the same details to check in for Ryanair as are required for your API there are no extra steps to take.

With Aer Lingus there is a link to follow to add API details for Spain, or you can provide them at the airport at the desks for bag drop off.
