    does anyone see a problem with this? i basically want a tablet thats got a fast enough processor, that i could use for college a small bit and that has good wifi and can do every a laptop can, internet browsing wise. is this suitable? ive read a few reviews but they are all very general. does anyone here have this or something like it? thanks

    truthfully once you mentioned "use for college a small bit" I thought netbook, after now seeing a couple of videos I'm still going get a netbook.

    There's some pretty scary stuff in Red at the bottom of that link. It sounds like calibrating the screen, or doing a hard reset could brick the device.
    AND
    ...... I was going to quote one of those points in red, but I can't decide which one is the worst.

    I would strongly advise against buying this...... particularly from those guys.......at least I guess they're honest.

    I wouldn't assume that there will definitely be a firmware update.

    Notion Ink Adam is due to be released this side of Christmas in UK -I know it's a different price point, but you get more processor, screen quality, and features.

    Otherwise - Netbook ;)

    id say u wont find too many with this,, on paper it doesnt look too bad but at that price u get what u pay for,,
    also alot of disclaimers on the side so id be v wary

    i read that review and it is very good. the reviewer didnt point out any of the problems the seller in ebay noted though. is there any other android tablet that is around that price tag, even a little dearer, that would be better?

    the advent vega is approx £250 if I remember correctly however you can't get them as they aren't in stock, thus ebay prices of them are quite high.

    i know this is the same but should work out cheaper. i know it wont set the world alight but it does all the basics. i only want to use the internet fully on it really. it has flash player which is important. it could potentially be a bargain couldn't it?
