    Do i have to tax my commercial jeep in the county that i live in or can i tax in anywhere

    you can tax it online if you like and never have to leave your house until you need to put the new tax disc in the window. :)

    actually, now i think about it, i have no idea if you can even use the online yoke for commercial tax. hmm.

    As far as I know it's private vehicles only online.

    Hi, if you have changed address since you last taxed it or now want to change address you can do it at your local office but they will take your log book from you and send it off to Shannon Co. Clare where a new log book will come from within a few days showing your new address . If your details are still the same, you can renew your tax at the tax office where your vehicle is registered to in that county.

    As its commercial, you now need a Declaration form signed by the Gardai stating your occupation or trade. Some councils look for a Vat number or PPS number. They also photocopy your Insurance Cert and check with your Insurance Company that it is in fact a Commercial Insurance Policy. Taxing Commercials has got to be a right pain in the ass. You have to go through this every time you tax the same commercial vehicle in future.
