hey guys im useing wimax 7mb witch i find to be great but my torrents and giveing me trouble lately download speed is 16kb ps and upload is bout 25 kb ps 34 seeds 24 peers roughly is what i have witch is good i think so why is it downloading so slow ? when i got it first i was downloading at up to 900 kb ps so i dont no…

They block them, many connections really messes up a wireless network, a single torrent can have hundreds of connections open even when stopped. Just a few people torrenting would bring their network to a crawl. My advise is to find a direct way of downloading.

sorry what do you mean they block them? also before i download i can download torrent , Secure Direct Http Download,or download movie witch is the best to use? thanks for the reply

They will throttle all traffic with the peer to peer protocol bringing Your downloads to a crawl. Some users have posted in the Midband forum that torrenting works fine during the trial period but stops working after You sign up

Imagine's WiMax network is unsuited to a lot of things, P2P is just one of them.

Also be warned that if they consider your downloading is affecting their network they may throttle your speed.
